Paul Zimmerman, missionary to the Mwane people, chats about his new radio project in Makamia, in the Cabo Delgado province of Mozambique. Makamia is on top of a mountain that looks towards the coast of northern Mozambique. Placing a transmitter there means the new station will potentially reach 95% of the Kimwane speaking tribe, who live on or very near the sea. A hard-to-reach Muslim group, years of dedicated work amongst them have now realised 7 converts - and contact with less than half of the known villages. Radio will be a great tool in the hands of these committed workers.
Jon Hargreaves talks about what LIFTING THE LID, a leadership development initiative, is all about. It starts in September, and Jon is preparing for the opening gathering of invited Feba staff from various locations. It's a 3 year plan, will require hard work and application, but plans to be a useful catalyst in deepening Feba's leadership talent. Got a suggestion for future shows?
